Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I authorized a friend on my bank account to pay expenses while I was on vacation, when I came back, I tried twice to take her name off the account but she refused to come with me to do it. Now I realized she slowly stole 4000 dollars from me, what should I do?
