Debt Collections
I have a company telling me I owe them money, and when I asked to be faxed a document with my account number and the amount that I owe they told me that they cannot send me any information until I pay off the debt.

Dates and Records.
If a collection company is calling you, they have to send you something in writing within 5 days of the first call. Write down the date of the first call, who called, the phone number, and wait.
