Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Several People, One Charge

3 Friends and I were charged with

smoking marijuana in public in New

York City. We all have the same

charge, and our DATs all cite the

same time and place for our court

date. Can we hire one lawyer

together, or do we each need our

own?

Re: Several People, One Charge

It depends on the circumstances, you may all be able to have same attorney if the defenses do not conflict. This area of law is our specialty, and our fees are very reasonable, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
