Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

EEO response

I filed a Formal Complaint with a (State-City) government agency. In the Policy, it states, it would make every reasonable effort to issue the determination w/in 120 business days after the acceptance of the complaint.

It will be almost 1 year, way beyond the 120 business days.

I inquired about 120 business day, also about 6 month mark, and about 11th month mark.

QUESTION: any analysis, thoughts on next moves?

If it's a serous case you can always dismiss the EEO complaint and file a lawsuit.
