Civil law SUIT?

i was a victim of an ilegal search and seizure caused by a serch of one of my friends hotel room. the search was conducted by the U.S marshals in search of a federal fugitive whom i do not know nor was i with but was staying in the same hotel.They serched me inside my room and found a gun.then serched our other two rooms Then the federal fugitives room. I did 9 months and was released caused by a supression motion being granted..the US judge said the search was iilegal unconsitutional and violated my civil rights and that the officers used a arrest warrant as a general search warrant and acted on a hunch there were no exigent circumstances to justify the search .. what do you think ?

I think you should come into our office and talk. You sound as if you have a very strong 1983 action (Civil Rights action) for wrongful arrest unlawful imprisonment and malicious prosecution as well as one for invasion of Privacy and probably a few other things too.
