Legal Question in Elder Law in New York

Final Arrangements

My friend has a terminal illness. He has a recently drafted will and his money is invested under professional advice. He has two sons. Both are seamen and at sea for very long periods of time. His worry has to do with who will care for the final arrangements in case his sons are working ''when the time comes''. Can you advise of a legal service who can attend to these final needs.

Thanks,

Ed. Sita

Re: Final Arrangements

Dear Mr. Ed Sita:

Some people ask their attorney to serve as executor of their will, usually the attorney who drafted the will.

If your friend is interested in engaging my firm for this type of service, contact my office directly at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Anthony S. Park
