Re: Music Contracts

The use of contracts without a lawyer to explain them and tailor them to specific situations is analagous to giving an individual a pair of pliers because he wants to extract a tooth. Please get reasonable and don't try to circumvent the use of a competent attorney.

Re: Music Contracts

You'd buy them from a qualified attorney. There are lots of them on this board.

Re: Music Contracts

You can not be serious! You are looking for a detailed contract, but want boilerplate?

You should split the cost of having the appropriate documents drafted specifically for your needs, because otherwise, something will be left out.

That is exactly why there are so many lawsuits over contracts.

A multi venue tour by a joint venture

could actually involve creating a

new business entity; you are drastically limiting your options by

trying to save a few bucks here.

The concert locations need to be insured for instance: who is paying for the different kinds of insurance?

What about commercial liability and workers comp? These are things you can negotiate with the bands and clubs.

First you need to figure out what suits your joint venture best.
