Appellate lawyers, like matrimonial attorneys at the trial level, generally work on an hourly basis. You can find rates ranging from $250 per hour up.

If you don't have the ability to pay, then you have two choices - try to do the work yourself (which is very difficult) or give up the appeal.

An appellate lawyer could cost you several thousand dollars. But if it is worth it to you, you can call my office for a recommendation.
