Legal Question in Family Law in New York

In a grandparent visitation case where forensics are ordered? Can the judge order forensics only for the mother and if the case is dismissed will the oarty still have to go through with the forensics portion of the order.

Forensics are always ordered for all sides, however, if the case is dismissed then forensics do not need to be concluded.
