Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am asking my husband for a divorce, I have been a housewife for 11 years, at this moment I am unemployed but I'm looking for a job I need to move out with my 2 kids because he doesn't want to leAve the apartment we are currently renting. I need to know what can I do. If I move to another place, does he have to support me and the kids until I am able to do it myself? What do I do if he doesn't want to leave the house?

You should not leave the house until you have spoken with an attorney first. There are several possible ramifications to you leaving, both financial as well as concerning the children. An attorney may also be able to get him to pay your legal fees.
