Legal Question in Family Law in New York

do I need a lawyer to submit a QDRO in Nassau County, NY. I am a former domestic relations paralegal and the QDRO was prepared according to union form requirements and both my ex-husband and I want it signed as soon as possible

Generally, no. However, a paralegal may not submit the QDRO on behalf of a litigant. The litigant must submit the order pro se.
