Legal Question in Family Law in New York

how does new york state law identify a relationship? extremely long story behind this question so i will try to make it quick... due to a signed contract, i am not allowed to be in a relationship with a certain person, but how will the law recognize a relationship? living arrangements? communication? sex? we are not married, not in a civil union, we do not live together, we do not share bills or assets, we simply call eachother boyfriend/girlfriend and we have sex with eachother... so if we continue to do that and we get caught by some authority figure involved with the contract, will i be charged with breaching a contract or get in some sort of trouble?

Your question has no answer because you do not give us any context. In order to give an answer, you need to explain this "contract". Is this a divorce settlement with a no cohabitation clause? Is this something else?
