greencard expiration
I have a conditional greencard which
will expire on January 19, 2009...is it
ok if i file my I-751 on December
2008? please
advice...anyone...PLEASE! thanks in
advence

If you are filing the petition jointly with your spouse, you must file it during the 90 days immediately before the second anniversary of the date you were accorded conditional resident status. This is the date your conditional residence expires.

If you are still married and living with your spouse, and are filing jointly (with your spouse), then you must file your petition within the 90 days prior the date your conditional card expires. If you are not filing with your spouse, then other rules may apply.
