Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

i have an immigration question. i am a student under OPT program and i am working in a company under my student VISA. i( intended immigrant) got married in USA and my wife is an American Citizen. I am applying for ADJUSTMENT of STATUS. My American wife is going to be my Sponsor but she just graduated from college and she never worked and she is unemployed . she has no income. As i mentioned i work under my OPT program (expires in Nov. 2014) . I make 44000 yearly as an Electrical Engineer . How i can help with the sponsors income and do i need to fill I-864 as well ?

Your income can be included on your wife's I-864. You do not need to submit your own I-864, nor can you. You will still probably need a co-sponsor. Please refer to www.uscis.gov. Go to the "forms" link & then to "I-864". Download the instructions for further information.

Good luck.
