Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Hi , first of all i would like to appreciate anyone who will answer this question.

Here is my situation: I overstayed my J-1 visa in US and i left after 2 years with my own desicion and i didnt face deportation.

My question is when i flew out from US does that mean the immigration deported me?

And is the immigration part of Department of State i mean does they have same database information?

If you had been deported by the U.S. government, you would have been put in immigration proceedings (in court) first. However, since you overstayed for 2 years, even though you departed on your own, you are still barred from re-entering the United States for 10 years.

The U.S. Department of State, USCIS, CBP ,etc. should all have access to the same information with regards to your admissions, departures, & any other immigration related information.
