the insurance was on my employers name and so is the car.

i have stopped working for him regardless to the accident.

one day he called my saying he lost the case and that i need to pay 2700$ tom the insurance company.

It sounds as if he is asking you for reimbursement for property damages to his car. You do not even know what his claim is judging from your inquiry. You have two choices: (1)Ignore him; It is his car, his insurance, his headache, or (2) have an attorney charge you minimal to investigate what the claim is and whether you are on the hook.
