Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York

I left some antique furniture in storage for 3 years that belonged to my mother. It was just delivered to my home in New York State. I was crushed to find that an antique chest of drawers is severely damaged from water -I am not sure it is reparable (wood inlay came out, wood bucking and discolored) . It is appraised by a reputable auction house and is worth a lot - have the appraisal. What legal recourse do I have. I have been paying storage fees for 3 years. I cannot find the storage agreement but was communicating with the company online -

This is on the storage company website -

You need to obtain a copy of the warehouse receipt inclusive of any waivers and/or exclusions. You may be able to submit the claim to your homeowner's insurance if you have a policy coverage pertaining to this matter. A funiture expert is required to provide an opinion regarding the genesis of your damages.
