Legal Question in Insurance Law in New York

"My sons father died in a tragic car accident. He was insured and I am the soul Beneficiary over the accidental death life insurance policy. Since then the insurance company has contacted me in submitting the autopsy report. Which I went down to the medical examiners office to obtain this information, but since im not next of kin, and my sons are not the legal age to get the information, Im not able to obtain the information that's needed. How can I go about submitting a request with the courts to release this information?

As mother, you are entitled to apply for it as his natural guardian.

You may need to file a lawsuit. Once the suit is pending, your lawyer can subpoena the document from the ME's office.
