Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Hello

I am a female navy veteran, I am a contract cleaner for the us postal service.

I have five post offices, one of my postmasters is an INDIAN male who is very nasty to me and my employee, intimidating us, harassing us, trying to get us to quit so he can hire his old Indian cleaner for half of what he pays me. I was awarded the contract for the lowest bid by the previous boss one month before this new postmaster came in, other employees have come to me and said that he says he will get rid of us one way or another. All my other postmaster are extremely happy with our services. Is there anything I can do? Thank you very much. Charlene

There are laws to protect you and your company from such intentional discriminatory conduct. The best thing to do is to prepare your potential case or letter of complaint by gathering written statements, log sheet/book of events and any other documentary evidence that can be used to assist your attorney in prosecuting and protecting your rights.
