Nver Got Paid

I workedfor a mortgage company for a week and a half as a cold caller. I was hired by my friend and left becz he couldnt gaurantee weekly paychecks after he promised them. He owes me $150 since June 25th and kept telling me he didnt have the money and that he would pay me, even though i dont deserve it, when he got it. Now he says that he doesnt owe me ''Shit'' for the work that i did. It was an off the books job but i have my paper works for some of the calls i made, which proves i worked. If he refuses to pay me, can i take him to Court?

Re: Nver Got Paid

Absolutely, and you can also make a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. If the job was "off the books" your "friend" may have other problems besides failing to pay you your wages.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can call my office to schedule an appointment for a consultation or in the alternative, I can be reached for on-phone low-cost legal consultation at 1-800-275-5336 x0233699.
