Hello,

i am renting an apt that once belonged to my mother who had rent ctrl. I now have the apt under my name but as rent sub.. I owed about 3mths of rent on june 1 i sent the landlord a moneyorder for the full amt, they in turn sent it back to me stating that i could pay in court.. Any sug you could give on what to expect next would be great.

This may not be one to worry about.

If the landlord has brought an eviction for non-payment, then the court will order him to accept the money if you offer it.
