Legal Question in Military Law in New York

My son saw a dr. during basic, an was given another appt. he leader would not let him go, depression, panic attacks, an so on. After getting to his base, after a few days the problems started again, went to base dr. an was told he was in bad shape if need be go to the hosp. tonite if need be. He did an was there 3 1/2 wks. same clothes because his suite case was in his car an NO one from the base came. The dr. requested a meeting, an he told them for his best interest he needed to be discharged due to deaths on both sides of the family an family members on some type of meds(4 out of 5 in my family)But the hosp. called the base an told them where he was.They started awol charges but dropped them.But they got his computer, found Limewire on it with some porn movies, they say 1 has an underage girl.This was done in college a year ago.They have come to our house with question an went to roommates house today.They told him he thought they had turned this over to Fed's an gave them his computer an they are trying to build a case.They also said he might get out of it if he proves it was taken in a undo illegal search an seizuer with awol charges dropped.Anything we can do now? Please HELP.This was innoccent fun.He's a great kid!
