Re: Premises Security Liability

There is no good source (of which I'm familiar) which provides updated caselaw for free. As an attorney I pay Westlaw $300 per month for state cases and search ability.

In addition, legal research is part art, part science which takes most practicing attorneys years, if not decades to master. If you perform your own research, you are bound to make mistakes, possibly fatal mistakes.

I think your best bet is just to post your query here on LawGuru and see if an attorney will be able to question.

I would start with Google. If you want to take it further, you might visit the library of a law school near you, where there may be law review, and other legal journal articles on the subject. You can also do a computerized legal search, using Westlaw or Lexis and the like, but you generally must pay a hefty subscription fee first, which is why only lawyers, law firms and law schools tend to subscribe.
