No one can say without knowing all of the facts of the case and all of your medical information. This is an art, not a science.

Consult with an attorney because without one, the insurance company will certainly take advantage of you. Rememeber, insurance companies are in business to make money, not give it away.

Good Luck

Re: How much should I be looking for

It depends upon several factors: the nature of the underlying injury in an auto case because of the no fault law, as well as the county you live in, or could sue in (defendant's residence).

If you can get past the "no fault threshold" and it sounds as if you can, liability, in other words how much of the accident was defendant's fault, and if you are at fault at all also comes into play.

I would be happy to follow up with you.
