Legal Question in Product Liability in New York

automobile reposession

I just tried my first bank financed auto loan.

$9000.00 for a 95 pontiac grand am. The car I have for 4months, it has been in shop (9) times, I never have it more than 1 week.

I want to return it, it is dangerous to drive. If I return it and refuse to pay anymore, can the bank come after me for any more moneys, other than the car itself that I don't want anymore? 185.00 a month for 4 months so far, it keeps breaking or doesn't run at all...

please reply?

The bank lent you the money. They are like the loan shark on the corner. They do not care what you did with it..they get theirs. Raise a stink with the dealer and call the NYS Attorney General.

Good Luck
