Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

If a property is delisted at the owners request, I was going to refinance. During this time, I have received an offer to purchase my house. Is there a legal comittment to the delisted broker?

You should review the agreement that you signed with the broker. There are different kinds of brokerage agreements and it's impossible to say what the broker's rights are under your agreement without seeing it.

You should definitely speak to a New York Real Estate and Property Lawyer about the agreement prior to accepting the offer. I have dealt with this issue in my practice on several occasions and I usually can figure out the answer in 10-15 minutes.

Hope this helps!
