Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

I recently moved to New York to get out of an abusive situation in another state. The timing chain broke on my 2002 Saturn, and, due to my financial problems, I could not afford to have the car repaired: Therefore, due to my cars disabled status, and the impossibility of repairing the car, my car was stuck, immovably sitting in place on a city street for over a month, while I gathered the funds to fix the car. The car is entirely immobile without the timing chain and repairing the car is very expensive. Therefore, while I was trying to amass sufficient funds to repair this immobile car, the car was ticketed many times on streetsweeping days, despite the fact that I was entirely unable to move the car. How can I contest these tickets given these circumstances, that i was unable to move the car?

Thew best & really only advise I can offer is to package all of the tickets for one day & go to the tribunal. Once there try to have evidence with you to prove your car was unable to move. You might get a sympathic arbiter to reduce the fines.
