Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

my son has stage 4 cancer.he has his house in his and his daughters name.he has a will done witnessed and notorized.His girlfriend wants to get married so she will have his disability check and the house that my son owns that they live in.If they do get married,could his daughter loose the house to her.I am hopeing to protect my granddaughter.He has in the will that the house goes to his daughter. Could be. A spouse cannot be disinherited and she would be entitled to her elective % share of the estate.
