Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

this non for profit agency has a self employed director who does clerical work in her home. does she need workman's compensation and liability insurance in NYS?

The basic answer is, it depends. To be on the safe side I would suggest yes, get coverage. However, where is the NP located? What do you mean by self-employed? A lot of questions. It is always good for a NP to have proper business insurance coverage, including for directors and officers, as well as general liability.
