Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

What did I do?
I recently attended a wisk hearing and was awarded a PPD at the max rate for life. What happened to a lump sum offer?? Do I need to appeal if I want a lump sum??
Can I expect the Insurance Carrier to contact me with a Lump Sum offer in lieu of the lifetime payments?? I dont sleep as it is and with my present financial predicaments a Lump Sum ( If sufficient) would have been HELPFULL

In new york there are mehtods of dealing with these issues. PA too, but i am not familiar with PA Comp.
