Unlike a personal injury action there is no threat of trial only of the carrier paying more in medical expenses. Unless the claims examiner is under pressure to clear his files it can take months and months. Also these claims examiners have thousands of claims and many settlement offers slip through the cracks. Just be patient. I know that it is easier said then done.
