Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

Workmans comp NY

I have had a right shoulder, lower back injury since 2005. The IME ordered by the SIF says I've reached maximum medical improvement. They also said my condition is permanent and classified as a moderate degree of disability.What can I expect at my hearing next week? Will they offer to settle this in a lump sum or payments for life?

Ask your attorney. If you don't have one, I strongly suggest you retain one before the hearing to get you the best possible results.
