thank you for your prompt response.

my employers terminated my appointment over a loan facility that went sticky due to drop in oil prices globally.

this facility was managed solely by my branch manager and he accepted full responsibility for the management of the account.

However we faced the disciplinary comittee and our appointment was terminated.

I had reiterated that i had no complicity in the acount managment and that the account was micro managed by the branch manager.

The bank did not give me the option of resigning and this has affected my getting another job.

How do i seek legal redress

To mount a successful legal redress against your former employer, the starting point would be the terms of your previous appointment letter, did you breach the material terms that warranted the termination of your appointment, the exact role you played in the grant of this loan facility and what exactly were the findings and recommendation of the disciplinary panel.

I must reiterate again that the court can not stop an employer from hiring or firing a person in so far as its not in breach of his/her terms of employment.
