Why is this a collection law question? You need to direct it to a family law attorney. I find it unfathomable that a parent would ask this regardless of how bad the behavior of the child has been. Makes me wonder what kind of a parent would ask such a question.

If you wish to settle this matter for your own peace of mind, maybe you and your son can get a DNA test. But if the child was born during the marriage and you supported him then there are no refunds. If there was a court order directing you to pay there are no refunds either. I am sorry your acts this way but what you should do is make a will and disinherit him so he will not be able to benefit from your estate.
