If you are doing your own divorce that's likely just dumb. Often 'saving money' is 99.9% the only reason anyone attempts to do their own divorce. Unless you are indigent - you won't save money and if you fall into the more than 50% of people who screw something up, you likely won't get your divorce and you'll possibly have to start over. If you paid for do it yourself divorce forms - you likely got ripped and won't save money indigent or not. It is usually cheaper to have an attorney do your divorce for you and have it done right the first time. That said, you are required to list all children born of the parties during the marriage - who the actual father / mother is, is irrelevant.
