Depends on what Court Order(s) and/or Agreement(s) you have in place. If there are none, then from a technical standpoint, if she takes the child out of state without your consent, she may be committing a crime. However, from a common sense stand point, the child is 15 and unless retarded or otherwise unable to make competent decisions, she should be old enough to make her own decision about whether to go with mom or stay with you. There are possible other details which might make a difference so you should consider consulting with local family law attorney who can take the time to evaluate all of the circumstances of your particular situation and advise you accordingly. Best of luck!
