Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

My mother gave my brother's babysitter temporary guardianship of my brother. I don't like where he is living and my mother, in my opinion, is not fit to raise my brother any longer. How do I go about seeking guardianship? I am in NC and my mom and brother are in CT.

If your mother gave guardianship to someone then your mother's fitness is not an issue unless you are saying she wasn't fit to give guardianship. As to you jumping into the situation and wresting guardianship of your brother and potentially your mother as well - you will need to consult with an attorney in Connecticut. Best of luck to you!
