Legal Question in Intellectual Property in North Carolina

Use of marks in publications

Is it necessary to repeat a service mark, trademark, or registration mark each time the ''marked'' word or phrase is used on a page or within a publication, i.e., in PR releases if CFP is used a number of times, but the registration mark is used only once on the first use, is that acceptable, or does the registration mark need to be used each time the CFP appears on the page? within the document?

Re: Use of marks in publications

Is it your mark? Or that of another party?different use may indicate greater scrutiny:eg,McDonald's use of Burger King or Whopper in their ads.
