Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

My home as been going through the possiible forclosure process for a little over 15 months. I received a paper from Buncombe County in the General court of justice superior court division before the Clerk ( upper right hand corner)

On the right hand side of the top of the paper it reads DISMISSAL

Then it says TO: THe Honoraable Clerk of Superior Court of Buncombe Country.

It reads: This Special Proceeding for Foreclosure is hereby voluntarily dismissed pursuant to Rule 41 (a) of the Civil Procedure without prejudice. On this 6day of September 2011. Brock & Sons,PLLC signed Jeremy B. Wilkins Attorney

From your description it sounds like the foreclosure has been dismissed for the time being. However, it can be re-filed at a later time.
