Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

I purchased a Home in NC fifteen years ago and had the property surveyed before purchase. I found out in preparation for selling the property that the previous owner moved the property line stakes after the survey and before I saw the property. What are my options since this was deception that I can not prove?

Moving the stakes does not change the property line. If you have a survey, you are responsible to know that the lines are the lines shown on the survey. There is nothing that can be done to change the property lines. There is also nothing you can do about the previous owner changing the stakes since it has been 15 years.
