Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in North Dakota

Can you file bankruptcy if you are in the process of filing for medical malpract

My husband died because of negligence of a hospital and doctors and have been told I have a very good case for a lawsuit but the medical bills after insurance are well over 800,000.00 and I can't pay them and they are going after my property. Can I file bankruptcy and still pursue the lawsuit?

You should schedule an appointment with an attorney ASAP, before doing anything else.

If you have a good case, the PI attorney can forestall your losing your home, via bantruptcy or other means, without you losing your claim.

You may call at 212-674-0355 for further information.

Good luck,
