do u have an answer
i have a friend who filed bankruptcy chapter 7 she would like to know do she have to have her discharge papers in order for them not to take her income tax refund.

Depends entirely on whether her case has been closed or not. The issuance of a discharge does not necessarily close the case. Contact me, and I may be able to find more information.
