I am planning on starting a small newspaper.
What legal advice can you give me before starting?
Would you suggest I hire an attorney before starting?

I would strongly suggest that you obtain the advise of counsel as to all aspects of starting a new business. It is always a good idea to have a third person review your business plan and make suggestions.
