Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio

Order Cancellation, Money not refunded

I had ordered a moving company's services on 16 Feb 2005, for help with moving . The website indicated that a After a week i cancelled the order becuase i found it more convinient to use a full service mover.

The web site for the movers refused to refund the entire 260 USD (this amount was 65% of the amount that would have been used for the actual service) The web site did mention when placing the order that ''The proper Refundable Fee will be applied for this order'' . I thought it mentioned a amount of 15 USD as the amount, but cannot see it now. It did not mention the amount to be charged to my card till the order confoirmation email was recieved.

Now the vendor refuses to refund any amount back to me. Please advise what i can do for this unfair practice by the vendor. I have snap shots of the web site order page just in case they change the wording now.

Dispute first through your CC company, then in Conciliation court.
