Case was filed against me in a county I don't live in

I have a case filed against me in municipal civil court. The county that it was filed in is not the county I live in. Does it matter what county it is filed in?

Civil cases can be filed in one of three places - Where the cause of action arose, where the defendant resides, or where the plaintiff resides. File a motion for change of venue with your answer and counterclaim, if any.
