Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

harassing debt collectors

I have debt collectors calling about a cosmetic surgery loan, but after having liposuction and a tummy tuck, my tummy never went flat i was 125 pounds now im 168. I think somthing went wrong. I also had dental implants and currently only have metal prongs in my mouth therefore the weight gain couldnt possibly be from overeating as im pretty much on mushy food and liquids. What do I need to do to reduce or get rid of these debt collectors and how much I owe? I was supposed to have a bikini body not a whale body. What can I do? I got credit to do this so Im not looking at malpractice but debt collections. The loans were paid from the bank directly to the dr office before the surgeries could take place.

Re: harassing debt collectors

Unfortunately, the people that lent you the money (creditors) are not the same people responsible for your surgery. As such, they just want paid and, for the most part, are entitled. It does appear that something may have gone wrong with your surgery. You should contact an attorney to discuss your options.
