Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Proof of Service

What constitutes proof of service in the State of Ohio

Certified Mail

Substitute service.

Do both of these varieties of service have to be made

in person with receipt or witness, to stand up in court as Service Made !

If there are varieties of each of these forms of service, I would like them explained as to how they will suffice for proof of service in small claims court.

Re: Proof of Service

Service can be made by certified mail or by personal service(the bailiff or a person authorized by the Court to serve process). If the green card comes back unclaimed, then you can serve by regular mail. If the green card comes back anything but unclaimed then you have to get a better address.

Good Luck!!
