What happens if I simply do not pay my credit card Dept.

What could the posible repercussions be (besides going on my credit file)if I simply don't pay my unsecured credit card dept? I own a home and 2 cars.

They can sue you and make sure that you have a difficult time obtaining credit. Once a judgment is obtained, they can attach your bank accounts or garnish your wages or attach you car as security for payment. There are several options open to the bank.

The creditors can, if they choose, sue you, and get judgments against you for the amounts that you owe. The judgments will act as liens on your real property, and your cars might be subject to attachment to satisfy the debt.
