Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

small claims court

I understand there is a $3000 maximum for small claims court in Ohio. My claim is for $4400, however, I don't know if the court will accept all my claims. Should I leave it at $3000, or submit it all?

Re: small claims court

Submit them all. Many courts do not differentiate between small claims and municipal courts. Although small claims is less formal, many cities have the same judges and courts for small claims and municipal cases, so it won't matter.... and.... don't just give away 1400.
