Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

I had my wages garnished for aprox.1 yr. which was a legal garnishment. Aprox. 1 yr later, I received another garnishment notice, from the same creditor which turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, but someone who also worked for the same company as myself but in another county. My previous garnishment was cancelled. Now, that creditor is trying to garnish again, where he left off. Can that creditor still garnish my wages even after the garnishment was cancelled?

In Ohio, before the creditor can garnish your wages, he/she/it must first get a judgment against you in court showing that you owe the money. If the creditor does not have a judgment against you, then your money cannot be garnished.
